The teaching assistant apprenticeship is perfect for anyone who is passionate about helping young people to reach their academic potential.  Teaching assistants play a major role by working closely with pupils and supporting teachers by helping to manage their workloads.

This apprenticeship looks in-depth at how to safeguard children and encourage their development in the classroom.  You will explore topics including planning learning activities and using assessment strategies.  Find out ways on how to reflect on your role and evaluate your own progress as a teaching assistant.  This apprenticeship is designed to help you build the confidence you need to work with all age groups.

The level 3 TA apprenticeship is designed to both develop existing school staff as well as recruit TA apprentices for schools.

If you are interested in developing your current TAs or wish to advertise for TA apprentices, please get in touch by email to admin@yhtt.ac.uk or phone 01482 686699.
